It is with great pleasure that we announce Billie Caldwell as a new member of Team Knott!

We are excited to welcome Billie Caldwell as the Knott Foundation’s new Communications & Board Engagement Officer. Billie brings more than a decade of experience in philanthropy, communications, and community engagement, with a career including roles at the Baltimore Community Foundation, Open Society Institute–Baltimore, and the Communication Workers of America.

A native of the Pacific Northwest and a graduate of the University of Portland, Billie began their journey eastward as a Jesuit Volunteer in Camden, New Jersey—an early and formative step in a career devoted to expanding access, cultivating partnerships, and elevating the voices of mission-driven organizations. 

A thoughtful communicator and strategic collaborator, Billie is grounded in Catholic social teaching and deeply committed to building authentic connections across sectors. We are excited for the care, creativity, and joy we believe they will bring to this role, and to the communities we serve. Please join us in welcoming Billie to this new role.
