Announcing Our Leadership Transition

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I’m writing to share that Kelley Q. Kilduff, a longtime friend of the Knott Foundation and our valued Executive Director, has submitted her resignation, and the Board has regretfully accepted it, effective March 14, 2025.

Kelley’s departure, predicated on a medical challenge, was unforeseen. While her tenure in the role was limited by this reality, it was not limited in its impact.

Her unwavering enthusiasm for the Foundation’s mission and the dedication she brought to fostering meaningful engagement among current and future trustees—ensuring they connect with both the work and the values of our founders—will leave a lasting impact.

On behalf of the entire Knott Board of Trustees and our many community partners, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for Kelley’s thoughtful and compassionate leadership.

We wish her strength, healing, and peace during this unexpected and challenging time, and we ask that you keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

As we navigate this transition, Kathleen McCarthy, the Foundation’s Program Director, will step into the role of Interim Executive Director. We appreciate your support and partnership during this period of change.

With tremendous gratitude,

Martin G. Knott

President
