Deep Roots, New Branches: Our 2024 Annual Report

At the Knott Foundation, each year offers us a chance to reflect – on where we’ve been, what we’ve built, and where we’re called to grow next. Our 2024 Annual Report, Deep Roots, New Branches, celebrates the ways we continue to honor the legacy of our founders, Marion I. and Henry J. Knott, while embracing new opportunities to strengthen communities across Maryland.

Our new Strategic Initiatives in Youth Empowerment, Catholic Schools, and Workforce Development also took root this year – adding depth and focus to the responsive, flexible grantmaking of our General Fund.

As Board President Martin Knott shared in his letter:

“…we built on the ingenuity and hard work of our founders while responding to the needs of today with creativity and care. As we look to the year ahead, we carry with us deep gratitude – for our grantee partners, for our Catholic faith, and for the opportunity to serve.”
